Colombo, Sri Lanka — CCC Foundation, a registered charity in Sri Lanka and operator of the national 1333 Crisis Support Line (CCCline), recently conducted a mental health and suicide prevention awareness programme in collaboration with the Girl Guides Association of Sri Lanka.
Empowering Young Voices to Change the Conversation
The programme brought together young Girl Guides to talk openly about mental health, the challenges young people face today, and how they can support shift the way society understands and responds to mental health struggles and suicide prevention. As young leaders within their schools and communities, the Girl Guides are uniquely placed to carry this message forward and encourage open, stigma-free conversations among their peers.
